What are the kitten poles vital statistics?.The kitten pole is comes in two pieces and is 38mm in diameter. It is made from 1.2mm thick steel, and has a professional chrome finish.
How long will it take to install. The only installation work is locating the best ceiling joist using a stud finder and then fitting the chrome socket. It should not take more then 30 minutes to do.
How long does the pole take to erect? Minutes and you can do it all by yourself, no need for an extra pair of hands.
What is a stud finder? It is a battery operated device used in the building trade to locate ceiling joists through plaster ceilings. Most DIY stores will sell them and they cost around 10.00
Once installed, Will I need tools to erect the pole? No, after initial installation the pole screws into place by hand.
Will there be visible fixings on my ceiling and floor? Only the chrome plated socket will be fixed to your ceiling.
My room has wooden/laminate flooring, will the pole stay in place? You must have a level surface. The pole has a heavy duty adjustable mounting foot which will keep its position on any flooring. Make sure you periodically check your pole and tighten with the short lever tool supplied with.
I'm not a perfect size 10...will the pole hold larger ladies like me? The Kitten-pole has been designed for every woman, not the 10 women on the planet who look like supermodels! The Kitten Pole is very strong. As long as you fit your pole or have it fitted in accordance with our instructions and follow the Health & Safety tips your pole will hold up to 20 stone body weight.
What if I move from a high/low ceiling property to an average ceiling height property, or my partner and I have significantly different ceiling heights? The bottom half of the pole would still be used. All you would need to solve this problem would be to change the length size of the top half of the pole or have to different top ends which accommodate various heights at properties. What exactly will I get when I buy my Kitten-pole? You will get your Kitten-Pole, a chrome socket, and Kitten-bag for storage and portability.
What don't I get that I might need?The screws that will fix the chrome socket to the ceiling joist because we can not meet individual needs with one type of screw. You will need access to a drill, screw driver and stud finder (see above) or a local handy person who will have all of the above.
